A question about NYU computers?

So I'm going to NYU in the fall and I was wondering, what do they say about computers? Like do they recommend a certain type of laptop for students? Because I just got a letter from URI walking about how different schools recommend different "systems." So does NYU have any preference for computers? Or can I just get any kind?
