"Paa" and "Sonar Kella" any relation with each other?

Was whistling to the tune of the theme of "Paa" by R. Balki. Found that the music was almost the same as the tune of the theme of Satyajit Ray's sensational Bengali movie "Sonar Kella". Any one noticed this. Is it anyway related?
