MY grand ma has really bad astma and emphazema and was diagnosed with copd however recently she was hospitlize

for it and was on the ventilator lif support for 2 days and stayed until the 6th afternoon however now when she uses her inhalers of fibulators it takes up to 20 mins until it begins to help her. could this be because she just got out not even 3 days ago or her condition is just getting worse? she dosent smoke anymore uses only 800 cc's of her lungs and pratices pursed breathing
