Is it stupid to date a guy who may be moving away?

I'm dating a guy who I like a lot but he may be moving away. He has invited me to move with him, and help run a resort his family is building there but here's the deal...I have two boys and I would be uprooting them from suburbia life in the U.S. to a beautiful tropical country (i.e. Fiji) which may not have the education level they may need. Granted...they could go through school there and move to Australia or New Zealand to complete their higher education...but what's the right thing to do? Do I stay with this guy cause I like him a lot and would consider going with him or do I cut ties and save myself from getting hurt if we decide we're not serious enough to make that commitment? My boys really are attached to him (my mistake)...??? Oh, and he's 10 years younger than me...he's HOT!!! HA!
