Why are kids being accused of being witches in Africa?

Ignorance. They need a scapegoat to blame the bad things that happen, they don't understand that some people get sick and die quickly because of germs, genetic problems, poor hygiene or poor nutrition. It also happens in Papua, New Guinea.
