Poisenous snakes in England?

We currently live in South Texas and there are a lot of rattle snakes and other poisenous snakes down here (and in our back yard.) It really freaks me out. We are about to move to England this winter and I was at first relieved about due to the snake issue here, but now I'm wondering about snakes there? What kind do they have? I remember in Okinawa there was a very poisenous snake we called Habu. However I was young and did not have kids back then, so didn't worry about it.
