If you shoot a dog humanely and eat it, it is legal?

Animal abuse is just part of the charges agianst Vic. Please people remember he ran an illegal gambling enterprise over state line which makes it a federal offense. Thats where the fine and long prison term are coming from not just the dog abuse. You read in the paper bout people abusing animals and getting 30 days and a $1500 fine where Vic messed up was the gambling turning it federal. To the original poster... if you got the dogs for consumption purposes and had all the permits to raise them for livestock like farmers do for their cows/chickens/whatever I would guess it would be legal. You would have to check state laws reguarding raising livestock.
