Cat keeps getting sick? help?!?

she started vomiting around 7pm. it was just her kibble and some water (the same food i've fed her for a long time, and normal regular water) i thought maybe she ate too quickly trying to beat her companion to the food. about an hour later she vomited again, same thing just little remnants of kibble. i tried to call a vet but there's none open! i'm really scared, she's acting her usual chipper self, her nose is moist and cold (or normal) and she's doing what she always does (playing and being crazy) she just keeps heaving periodically...i've investigated around the house and found a few pieces of plat soil at the base of a plant stand and think that might be the culprit, but it's not in her vomit when i clean it up! i've taken away the food for now and set out some fresh water...someone just give me some piece of mind!
