Birth control....PLEASE PLEASE HELP!!?

IM 13 and my periods make me soo depressed and they are really painful!! my mom tells me to take a pain killer that my Doctor gave me but they don't work that is how sharpe the pain is!! i asked my mom if i could go on birth control she said yes but then she talked to her Doctor and her Doctor said there was no reason...then i talked to her on the phone and she said that there was no birth control i can take at my age!!! okay, is there a pill i can take at my age, and can i just go to plan parenthood and get them on my own??
